Email Notifications
Notifications are not enabled by default; you can activate them from the "Notifications" page, accessible via the plugin menu.
The content of notifications is fully customizable, and placeholders are available for use in both the message body and subject line.
Customized email content
The plugin automatically sends two types of email notifications:
- A confirmation email sent to the customer after booking.
- An email notification to the administrator.
You can enable or disable each notification, customize the subject and content of the message, and set up recipients for administrative emails.
The email body is fully customizable with an integrated visual editor, allowing for basic formatting and a real-time preview.
You can also use the following placeholder tags, which will be automatically replaced when the email is sent:
{name}– User name{email}– User's email address{phone}– User's phone number[rental_type]– Rental type (daily, hourly, or multi-day){rental_period}– Rental period{bike_name}– Bike name{accessories}– Any accessories booked
Custom sender information
In the plugin settings, you can configure:
- The sender's name
- The sender's email address
We recommend using a valid and verified email address, preferably one linked to your domain (for example, info@tuodominio.com), to prevent messages from ending up in spam.
Important: Avoid using the same email address as the WordPress administrator if notifications are sent to that address. In many cases (especially with Gmail), messages may not arrive or may be sent directly to spam because the sender and recipient are the same person.
