Booking management
The plugin allows you to easily view, edit, and delete bookings from the WordPress admin panel.
Viewing the calendar
- Go to the Reservations section of the plugin.
- View bookings in an interactive calendar.
- Clicking on a booking will open a modal window with all the details.
Hourly bookings are shown in blue while daily and multi-day bookings are in orange
Edit or cancel a reservation
In the modal window, you can see some details of the booking and there is the "Edit" button to update the booking information and the "Delete" button to delete it.
The changes are applied immediately and reported in the calendar.
Table view
From the calendar view, you can switch to the "table view" tab to view more details about your bookings, such as their status.
The table displays the following data for each booking:
- Booking ID Image of the bicycle
- Customer data (name, email and phone number)
- Rental period: start and end date and time
- Booking status (for example, "Active")
In the "Actions" column you will find three buttons that allow you to manage each booking:
- Edit (pencil icon) Opens the edit booking screen to update details.
- Cancel ("X" icon) Changes the status of the reservation from "Active" to "Canceled" without deleting it from the database. Useful for keeping track of canceled reservations.
- Delete (trash can icon) Permanently removes the reservation from the system. Warning: this action is irreversible.
This view is particularly useful for managing reservations quickly and efficiently, especially if you receive many requests or prefer a tabular view over a calendar.
Manual booking
You can add reservations manually by clicking on "Add reservation" from the admin panel.
The module allows you to choose the type of rental, the time interval, and the bicycle, while checking its availability.
Note: When the bicycle is selected, a "Price summary" box appears at the top that dynamically updates the price calculated based on the type of booking, the bicycle, and the rental period.
After saving the reservation, you can add any accessories directly from the normal edit page.
