Multi-day rental is here
I’m pleased to announce one of our most requested features: multi-day rental, which includes automatic discount calculation and flexible management for each bicycle.
This new feature simplifies multi-day rentals and allows you to apply personalized discounts clearly and transparently.
Below is a quick guide to activating and configuring the new system.
1. Update the plugin and open Settings
After installing the latest version of the plugin, go to:
Settings → Simple Bike Rental Pro
You’ll find new options for Multi-Day Rental with configurable settings.
2. Enable Multi-Day Rentals
Activate the new option “Enable multi-day rentals”.
This feature allows you to book multiple consecutive days and automatically enables:
- the new multi-day date selector
- price calculation based on days
- any automatic discount
3. Set the global discount.
A new field is available: “Multi-day discount (%)” This percentage will be applied to all bicycles with multi-day enabled.
Note: The global discount is only the default value. Each bicycle can have its own custom discount, which overrides the global value.
4. Decide whether to include accessories in the discount
New option:
“Apply discount to accessories”
- If enabled → the discount applies to bikes + accessories
- If disabled → only to the bike, accessories at full price
We also display a savings message (only if a discount is actually applied), for example:
You save €63.00 (30%) with the multi-day discount
5. Choose the minimum number of days for the discount to apply.
In the field:
“Discount applies from day”
you can set the minimum number of days required before the discount is applied.
Examples:
- “2” → discount for stays of 2 days or more
- “3” → no discount for reservations of 1 or 2 days
6. Enable multi-day rentals for individual bicycles.
Now go to Bicycles → Edit bicycle.
You’ll find the new options specific to that bike:
✔ “Enable multi-day rentals for this bicycle”
✔ “Multi-day discount (%)”
✔ “Discount applies from day”
✔ Rounding options
Each bike can have:
- its own discount
- its minimum number of days
- its rounding method
If you leave the “Discount” or “Minimum days” fields blank, the global values set in the General Settings will be used.
What’s changing on the frontend?
Users now see:
- the total multi-day price
- the rental duration
- the total accessories calculated per day
- the savings if the discount is applied
- the updated final total
The display is immediate, clear, and much more professional.
Improved payment models (Stripe)
The Stripe payment pages have been redesigned to provide a clearer experience:
Pre-payment summary – now features a more organized layout, displaying booking details and a much more readable cost summary.
- Payment Success Page – Completely redesigned with a more harmonious layout for key information.
The old markup, which relied on many elements <p>, has been replaced with a more consistent structure, featuring informative lists and a more balanced layout, improving readability on both desktop and mobile devices.
The CSV export has also been updated to correctly include and filter the new multi-day rental type.

- a clearer and more intuitive frontend with prices that update based on user choices
- a more flexible backend for rental managers
With this version, Simple Bike Rental Pro is now more flexible and straightforward to use on a daily basis. New multi-day options, improved pricing, and an updated payment experience make the booking process more intuitive for users and more comprehensive for administrators.
