Great news coming! With version 1.2.5 of Simple Bike Rental Pro, you can finally add accessories to the rental: helmets, bags, trolleys, seats and everything that makes the bike experience even more complete.
Here’s what’s changing
- Select accessories directly from the frontend booking form. (only if enabled in the plugin settings)
- Clear and visible prices of accessories.
- Accessories automatically included in confirmation emails (for customer and administrator).
- Accessories also visible in the calendar mode in the admin area.
Use the new option in admin to enable/disable accessory management at any time.
After activating the option, you can add your accessories directly from the “Accessories” page in admin, by clicking on the “Add Accessory” button.
On the page for adding an accessory, you can enter:
- Image
The image of the accessory - Name
the name of the accessory - Price
The price of the accessory is always fixed and applies to the entire booking, regardless of the rental duration. For example, if a cart costs €10, the customer will always pay €10, whether they rent the bike for 2 hours or for an entire day. The currency symbol you set in your configuration is used. - Quantity
Each accessory is considered as a single unit (quantity = 1). This means that the customer can select a maximum of one piece of that accessory for each reservation.
Simple Bike Rental Pro is designed to ensure maximum simplicity and speed in the booking process. For this reason, each reservation is for one bike at a time and each accessory can be selected in a fixed quantity of 1.
If a customer wants to rent multiple bikes or multiple identical accessories, they can simply make multiple separate bookings. This approach reduces the complexity of the system and minimizes the risk of errors, ensuring a clear and smooth experience for both the user and the administrator.
Even more complete bookings
With the new version 1.2.5 of Simple Bike Rental Pro, the booking form on the frontend becomes even more versatile. Now, in addition to selecting the bike and date, your customers can also choose any optional accessories, all on one screen, with no additional steps.
Each accessory is presented with an image, name and price, so the user can immediately see what is available and add what they need. The process is quick, clear and no-nonsense: just one click to include a child seat, a dog cart, an extra helmet or any other accessory created.

Booking details at a glance
When you click on a reservation in the administration calendar, the summary mode that shows you all the main information will now also show the accessories included in the reservation (if any).
The administrator can immediately check not only which bike has been booked, but also any extras chosen by the customer, without having to open other pages.
Show accessories in email notifications
Finally, the placeholder {accessories} has been added to be used for notification emails to the customer and the administrator. The placeholder will also show a list of booked accessories (if available) in addition to the other details.
From today, with version 1.2.5 of Simple Bike Rental Pro, you can add everything you need to make your customers’ experience even more complete: child seats, trailers, helmets and much more.
It only takes a moment to configure them, and your customers can select them directly from the booking form in the frontend. No complications: management is simple and integrates perfectly into the rental flow you already know.
